CTSG is recruiting for an Operations Co-ordinator to support the next phase of our growth plan. We are looking for an energetic, efficient and effective team-player; the kind of person who loves getting stuck in to a full To Do list and is supremely organised.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll find yourself at the very centre of the day-to-day action, liaising with colleagues, clients and suppliers. A confident, clear and comprehensive communicator, you will spend your time doing what your job title suggests: co-ordinating the activities of our Ops team! But more than that, you’ll genuinely care about our reputation and will want to do everything you can to ensure that our clients are delighted by us. You’ll need to be both reactive and proactive, adept at balancing external and internal client demands simultaneously. Your planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills will be impressive, and your positive approach means that you won’t be fazed or frustrated every time there’s a change of plan or an unanticipated challenge emerges. Just to be completely frank, that happens quite a lot here; the work we do means that we are at the mercy of a multitude of factors, including the weather and wildlife – so if you’re the sort of person who likes to work on one thing at a time and can’t bear to be interrupted, it might be best if you step aside….
It’s hard to sum up this role in a handful of words, but let’s give it a go:
So what will you actually DO, on a day-to-day basis? You’ll be our back-office Admin Ninja, spending your time scheduling, preparing quotes, raising sub-contractor purchase orders, dealing with queries, compiling MI, communicating updates and generally ensuring that the Ops Manager is set up for success and in pole position to smash departmental KPI’s. If they are Batman, you are Robin (or Robyn)!

- Comfortable working at pace, without compromising on detail
- Professional and personable
- Proficient in IT and happy using multiple systems (even if some of them haven’t been fully implemented yet). If you are familiar with Simpro, bonus points!
- Experienced in the construction &/or engineering sectors. Better still: you’ll have previously worked in the electronic security industry

Core hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday. This role will be predominantly based from our office in Northampton, but there is some scope for hybrid working if this appeals.
